Our Gainesville Townhouse:
The Bluffs
We will be residing at this home from Summer 2009
until completion of our new dog -friendly home in
North Georgia.  The birth of EB's puppies have set us
back several
 months.
The Future of HunyBahr

My job is in Gainesville so the townhouse is convenient, but the lack
of a yard is hard on the dogs.  We have decided it would be more
productive to remodel the townhouse making it as dog friendly as
possible and then rent out the cabin.   While in the townhouse Biscuit
will begin her agility training.

We are acquiring several acres of unrestricted property (closer to my
job) and will begin construction on our permanent dog-friendly home
once the cabin is rented.  We will call it HunyBahr Farm.

We will have room for plenty of dogs and be able to raise our own
chickens for eggs.  Our plans are to plant a garden and multi-fruit
orchard.  Maybe one day HB Mom can finally have a horse and the
dogs some geese, goats, or calves to herd.

The property has frontage on a stream, so Daddy John is looking
forward to fishing with his four-legged companions.  Though we
don't expect either will catch anything.

Below are the "BEFORE" photos of the townhouse.  We will update
the "AFTER" as we complete each project.  In June we and the dogs
move into our work in progress.   As we draw closer to work on
HunyBahr Farm we will open a webpage and photograph the
progress so you can feel a part of our changes too.

The dogs are looking forward to a doggie den in the basement.  They
and HB Mom will watch TV together every evening before bed.  Plus
HB Mom is putting in a grooming station.

Visit us every 3-4 months to track our progress.
